| My Father, Douglas Eugene Bailey was born in Tomball, Texas. My Father was in the United States Army from his young adult life and later joined the United States National Guard. Dad went on tours in the Vietnam War as a tank mechanic from what he said, I heard different elsewhere. In 1991 after the National Guards yearly two week training exercise that were usually in Fort Hood, Texas, my father was on his way back and was supposedly cut off by a drunk driver while riding in a Tractor trailer size wrecker that flipped over on top of him after he had fell out of the cab of the truck.
